Portuguese two wheels grow more than 21 percent in January
The figures were released, when Abimota prepares its participation in two international events, under the Internationalization joint project ABIMOTA EXPORT 2020 co-financed by Compete and Portugal 2020.
According to data released by INE - National Statistics Institute of Portugal on March 13, the Portuguese two wheel and soft mobility sector registered a 21.68% increase compared to the same period of 2022. Bicycle and component exports reached 60,251,794 00 million euros in January and registered the 24th consecutive month of growth.
Next week will be of great activity for ABIMOTA (Portuguese two wheel, hardware and similars association) and the Portuguese two-wheel and soft mobility sector, with the participation in two international events.
From March 22nd to 25th will take place in Taipei, Taiwan, the Taipei Cycle Show, one of the world's largest events dedicated to two wheels and soft mobility and, then on March 25th and 26th in Copenhagen, Denmark, will take Place Copenhagen Bike Show, in Copenhagen, Denmark
